It is validating that the impact of our efforts are clear to the funding community and that our organization is seen as capable of managing such a high profile grant. It is also humbling to see women with such conviction invest in a program that will only benefit them indirectly, but will have a direct impact on the lives of other women (through their improved, healthy relationships with the young men in the XY Zone program).
